Osceola Regional Health Center is excited to announce the acquisition of Country View Manor, a 46 bed nursing facility adjacent to its campus in Sibley. This strategic decision will ensure that high quality nursing facility services remain available to community members in Osceola County.
In recent years, nursing home closures have become a pressing concern in rural Iowa, due in part to increasing operational costs, regulatory challenges, and a significant shortage of nursing staff and qualified administrators. The acquisition of Country View Manor will ensure local ownership and investment in this essential service long into the future.
“We recognize the critical role that Country View Manor plays in the continuum of care for residents in our region,” said Joe Heitritter, ORHC CEO. “By acquiring Country View Manor, we are committed to maintaining the high standards of care that are already being provided in our community.”
Osceola Regional Health Center’s mission is to enhance and improve the quality of life of the population it serves, to be the area’s premier health care service provider, and to have a positive impact on the lives of the people and community it serves.
“We believe Country View Manor aligns with our mission and we are thankful to their shareholders who voted unanimously to approve the sale,” added Joe Heitritter. “Our staff has worked collaboratively with their dedicated employees for many years and we are excited for them to join the ORHC team.”
Osceola Regional Health Center will take over operation of the nursing facility on April 1, 2025 under the name Osceola Senior Living. We look forward to sharing more updates as we integrate and grow together. Thank you for your continued support.
