Mango Avocado Salsa Recipe

Looking for a healthy, colorful, and tasty recipe? How about trying Mango Avocado Salsa? This salsa contains heart-healthy monounsaturated fat from the avocado, heart-healthy potassium and vitamins A and C from the mango, as well as tomatoes and lime juice.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocadoes, diced
- 1 soft, ripe mango, peeled and diced
- ½ cup chopped red onion
- ½ cup chopped tomato (or chopped grape tomatoes)
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro, or more if desired
- Juice of 2 fresh limes
- Salt and pepper, as desired
Directions:
In a medium-size bowl, mix chopped avocadoes, mango, red onion, tomato, and cilantro. Add lime juice. Sprinkle freshly ground salt and pepper as desired. Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
This is delicious served with salmon, fish, or chicken. Mango Avocado Salsa can also be served with whole-grain tortilla chips or vegetables as a dip. Enjoy!
