Ultramodern Ultrasound Technology in Sibley, Iowa
As an organization pursuing the future of healthcare, updating technology is a major priority at Osceola Regional Health Center. “Our latest ultrasound machine is the GE LOGIC E10,” shares Radiology Supervisor, Denise Cummins. “It has many improvements from our previous ultrasound, which we’ve utilized in radiology the past several years.” The main feature of the new unit is the high image quality and 3D/4D technology. “The details we are able to see are pretty incredible.”
“Working with top of the line technology, I feel that I am giving my patients the best experience and thus the quickest and most confident diagnosis. That’s very rewarding to me,” says Mandy Groen, Ultrasound and Radiology Tech. “One element of the new machine I’m specifically enjoying would be the 3D/4D ultrasound. With the bigger, clearer screen and more realistic images it provides a better window to what we’re trying to look at and find out from the picture.”
Osceola Regional Health Center offers many ultrasound services which include general imaging, cardiac, vascular, MSK, small parts, and OB.
